difference between Even though and Even so


1. Even Though (भले ही / हालांकि)
Meaning: "Even though" is a subordinating conjunction used to introduce a fact that makes the main clause surprising or unexpected. It means "despite the fact that" (हालांकि / भले ही).
Structure:
Even though + Subject + Verb, Main Clause
Examples:
Even though it was raining, she went for a walk. (भले ही बारिश हो रही थी, वह टहलने गई।)
He passed the exam even though he didn’t study much. (हालांकि उसने ज्यादा पढ़ाई नहीं की थी, फिर भी वह परीक्षा में पास हो गया।)
Even though she was tired, she kept working. (भले ही वह थकी हुई थी, फिर भी वह काम करती रही।)

2. Even So (फिर भी / तब भी)
Meaning: "Even so" is an adverbial phrase used to express contrast with a previous statement. It means "nevertheless" (फिर भी / तब भी). It connects two independent clauses.
Structure:
Sentence 1. Even so, Sentence 2.
Examples:
It was raining heavily. Even so, they continued playing. (तेज़ बारिश हो रही थी। फिर भी वे खेलते रहे।)
The dress is expensive. Even so, I will buy it. (ड्रेस महंगा है। फिर भी मैं इसे खरीदूंगी।)
He apologized. Even so, she didn’t forgive him. (उसने माफ़ी मांगी। फिर भी उसने उसे माफ़ नहीं किया।)
