"the number" के बाद हमेशा singular verb का प्रयॊग होता है और "a number" के बाद plural verb का। जैसे -

A number of suggestions were made. (इस वाक्य में "A number" के साथ plural noun और verb का प्रयॊग होता है।)

The number of people we need to hire is thirteen. ("The number of people" subject के साथ singular verb का प्रयॊग होता है।)

Let’s order for a pizza.

यहाँ, preposition “for” का परयूग अनुचित है।You just order something –not order for something. सही वाक्य होगा - Let’s order a pizza.

Kindly revert at the earliest.

“kindly” का प्रयॊग अब पुराना माना जाता है। इसकी जगह “please” का प्रयॊग करना चाहिए। इसके अतिरिक्त “revert” का अर्थ "पूर्वस्थिति में लौटना/ फिर लौट आना" (going back to an earlier state) होता है। इस वाक्य की जगह हमें ऐसा बोलना चाहिए - Please reply as soon as possible.

Let एक क्रिया है। Let के बाद सदैव pronoun के object form का प्रयॊग होता है। इसलिए सही वाक्य होगा - Let us move.

"Each" के बाद, हम plural noun या pronoun और singular verb का प्रयॊग करते हैं। सही वाक्य होगा - Each of these three roads leads to the railway station.

Synonyms

authentic - The corner shop keeps authentic French Cheese. (कोने की दुकान असली फ्रेंच चीज़ रखता है।)

legitimate - His claim to the property is absolutely legitimate. (संपत्ति के लिए उसका दवा पूरी तरह से वैध है।)

lawful - He is the lawful heir to this property. (वह इस संपत्ति को असली वारिस है।)

legal - We do not know the legal issues related to the problem. (हमें समस्या से संबंधित कानूनी मुद्दों का पता नहीं है।)

original - I gave her a copy of the report and kept the original. (मैंने उसे रिपोर्ट की एक प्रति दी और असली रखा।)
