unfriendly/ cold (अस्नेही/ विमुख) -- To people who don't know him he probably appears rather unfriendly. (लोग जो उसे नहीं जानते हैं वह शायद उनके लिए अस्नेही दिखाई देता है।)

short-tempered/ quick-tempered (गुस्सैल/ चिड़चिड़ा) -- He is a very short-tempered man. (वह एक बहुत ही गुस्सैल आदमी है।)

lazy (आलसी) -- He's too lazy to work. (वह काम करने के लिए भीआलसी है।)

warm-hearted (नेक) --> She's a good, warm-hearted woman. (वह एक अच्छी, नेक दिल औरत है।)

friendly (अनुकूल) --> Our neighbours have always been very friendly to us. (हमारे पड़ोसी हमेशा हमारे लिए बहुत अनुकूल है।)

good-looking (सुन्दर) --> She is very good-looking but not very bright. (वह बहुत सुन्दर है, लेकिन बहुत तेज नहीं है।)

hard-working (परिश्रमी) --> He was always very hard working at school. (वह हमेशा ही स्कूल में परिश्रमी रहा था।)

generous (उदार) --> My grandfather is known for his generous nature. (मेरे दादा अपने उदार स्वभाव के लिए जाने जाते है।)

kind (दयालु) --> He is very kind to poor. (वह गरीबों के लिए बहुत दयालु है।)

full of energy/ energetic (चुस्त) --> At the age of 65, he is very energetic. (65 की उम्र में, वह बहुत चुस्त है।)

thoughtful/ considerate (विचारशील) --> He has a thoughtful approach to his work. (उसका अपने काम के लिए एक विचारशील दृष्टिकोण है।)

easy-going (आरामपसन्द) --> His easy-going nature is not always appreciable. (उनका आरामपसन्द स्वभाव हमेशा प्रशंसनीय नहीं है।)

reliable (भरोसेमंद/ विश्वसनीय) --> He is the most reliable person in the industry. (वह इस उद्योग में सबसे विश्वसनीय व्यक्ति है।)

De Facto - De facto लैटिन expression है जिसका अर्थ “actual” (वास्तविक) - as an adjective और “in practice” (प्रयोग में) - as an adverb होता है।

Vis-à-Vis - इस फ्रेंच अभिव्यक्ति का अर्थ “face to face” (आमने-सामने) - as an adverb होता है। इसका व्यापक रूप से preposition की तरह प्रयॊग होता है जिसका अर्थ “compared with” or “in relation to” होता है।

Status quo - इस लैटिन expression का अर्थ “the current or existing state of affairs” (वर्तमान और मौजूदा मामलों की स्थिति) बताने के अर्थ में होता है।

Cul-de-sac - इंग्लैंड के French-speaking aristocrats ने इस अभिव्यक्ति की शुरुआत की थी जिनका अर्थ “bottom of a sack” (बोरी के अंत में) होता है पर सामान्य रूप में इसका प्रयॊग dead-end street (सड़क का अंतिम छोर) को बताने के लिए भी होता है या फिर to express an action that leads to nowhere or an impasse.

Per se - Per se लैटिन expression है जिसका अर्थ “by itself”(अपने आप) या “intrinsically” (मूलभूत रूप से) होता है।  

Ad hoc - Ad hoc, लैटिन भाषा से लिया गया है, जिसका एक adjective के रूप में अर्थ “formed or created with a specific purpose” (गठन करना या किसिस विशेष उद्देश्य के लिए बनाना) और adverb के रूप में “for the specific purpose or situation” (विशेष उद्देश्य या स्थिति के लिए) होता है।
