'GET AT' Phrasal Verbs


Reach or gain access to (something)
• I've put the cake on a high shelf where kids can't get at it. (मैंने केक को एक ऊँचे शेल्फ पर रखा है जहां बच्चे उस तक नहीं पहुंच सकते।)

Imply something or reach a conclusion indirectly
• I don’t understand what you are getting at. (मुझे समझ नहीं आ रहा कि आप क्या कहना चाह रहे हैं।)

Criticise a person repeatedly
• Why do you keep getting at me? (तुम बार बार मेरी आलोचना क्यों करते हो?)
