‘Little’ और ‘few’ दोनों ही quantifiers यानी ‘प्रमाणक शब्द’ हैं जो हमे मात्रा या संख्या के बारे में बताते हैं। इन दोनों का अर्थ किसी प्रकार की कमी या अभाव से जुड़ा है।
LITTLE
(It’s used only for uncountable nouns.)
किसी भी अगणनीय संघ्या की मात्रा में कमी के बारे में बताने के लिए हमेशा ‘little’ का प्रयोग करना चाहिए।
• There is little milk left in the bottle. (बोतल में थोड़ा दूध बचा हुआ है।)

FEW
(Used with plural countable nouns only)
किसी भी गणनीय संघ्या की संख्या में कमी को दर्शाने के लिए ‘few’ का use करना उचित है।
• There are few mistakes in your article. (आपके लेख में कुछ गलतियां हैं।)
