Dogma (noun) धर्मसिद्धान्त/ सिद्धान्त (established belief or set of principles held by a religion, ideology or by any organization) धार्मिक सन्दर्भ के बाहर इसे नकारात्मक अर्थ में लिया जाता है।
Eureka (interjection) मैंने पा लिया (I have found!) प्रसिद्ध यूनानी गणितज्ञ आर्किमिडीज (Archimedes) ने पहली बार इस शब्द का प्रयॊग किया था। While taking a bath, he suddenly realized that the water displaced must be equal to the volume of the part of his body he had submerged. इस बात को जान कर वे इतना उत्साहित हो गए कि “Eureka!” बोलते हुए बिना कपड़े पहने ही घर से बाहर आ गए।

Acropolis (noun) Acro का अर्थ छोर/ किनारा या परमसंकट (extremity) होता है, जबकि polis का अर्थ शहर (city) होता है। Acropolis, इसलिए, उन cities को दर्शाता है जिन्हें security purposes को ध्यान में रख कर बनाया गया हो।

यह एक cautionary सलाह है। किसी को भी दूसरे व्यक्ति पर अनावश्यक रूप से विश्वास नहीं करना चाहिए। हो सकता है वो, वास्तविकता में जो ना हो, वैसा बनने की कोशिश कर रहा हो। ऐसे व्यक्ति समयानुसार अपना रंग बदलते हैं और हमें नुकसान पहुंचा सकते हैं।
यह idiom 'Aesop's Fable' से लिया गया है। शायद 5th या 6th Century BC से इस idiom का प्रयॊग हो रहा है जब Aesop ने एक Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing नाम से एक fable लिखी। इस कहानी में चरवाहे को बेवकूफ़ बनाने के लिए और आसानी से भोजन प्राप्त करने के लिया एक भेड़िया भेड़ की खाल का सहारा लेता है। भेड़ की खाल पहन कर वह अंदर पहुँच जाता है और एक एक कर भेड़े मार कर खाता है। एक दिन चरवाहा meat के लिए एक भेड़ को मारने के लिए आता है। खाल में छिपे भेड़िये के हुष्ट-पुष्ट शरीर को देखकर वह उसे ही मार देता है।
यह idiom हमें झूठे लोगों से बचने की सलाह देता है जो एक अच्छे व्यक्ति (sheep) की तरह हमारे पास आते हैं पर वास्तव में वे हमारे हितैषी ना होकर हमें नुकसान (wolf की तरह) पहंचाते है। This idiom is a warning that you cannot necessarily trust someone simply because they appear to be kind and friendly.
