Generally, linking verbs are called ‘be’ verbs which are - am, is, are, were, were.
Those actions are: act, feel, stay, appear, become, seem, smell, sound, grow,
see, prove, remain, taste, turn.

Example-
He appears ready for the game. (He is ready for the game.)
वह खेल के लिए तैयार है।
The chowmein looked delicious. (The food was delicious.)
खाना बहुत स्वादिष्ट था।
