CARRY ON - To continue or proceed as before (जारी रखना)
GET ON -
1. To board or mount a vehicle (सवार होना)
2. To progress, advance (आगे बढ़ना)
HOLD ON
1. To grasp or grip firmly (जोर से पकड़ना)
2. To wait (also on phone) (रुकना)
KEEP ON - To persist or continue (आगे बढ़ना)

Sink और Drown दोनों का ही हिंदी meaning 'डूबना' होता है। पर इन दोनों words के uses अलग अलग है।

Sink : verb
Sink is used for both inanimate (निर्जीव) objects.
The ship sank in the sea.
Enemy aircraft sank two battleships.

Drown : verb
Drown is used for animated (सजीव) objects.
He drowned in the river.
He drowned in a boating accident.
