सर्वनाम का प्रयॊग सही order में करना चाहिए - जिस person से बात हैं, वह पहले; जिस person के विषय में बात कर रहे हैं, वह दूसरे और तीसरे स्थान पर जो व्यक्ति बात कर रहा हो। इसलिए उपरोक्त वाक्य गलत है और सही वाक्य होगा - Ram and I are friends.

अंग्रेज़ी में ‘cousin’ शब्द enough है इसके साथ brother या sister लगाने की जरूरत नहीं है। इसी तरह “He is my real brother.” वाक्य गलत है। अंग्रेज़ी में, ‘real’ (सगा) word is not needed with ‘brother’ or ‘sister’. सही वाक्य होगा - He is my cousin. और He is my brother.

आपका शुभ नाम क्या है? ‘good name’ का अंग्रेज़ी में कोई अर्थ नहीं होता है। परन्तु आज कल सीधे “What is your name?” पूछना असभ्य माना जाता है। इसलिए बोलचाल की भाषा में इसका प्रयोग करते हैं।
