Uncountable nouns जैसे furniture, sugar, rice, equipment, इत्यादि singular subjects माने जाते है और इसलिए इनके साथ singular verb का प्रयोग होता है -
The furniture in his room is very old.
(उनके कमरे का फर्नीचर बहुत पुराना है।)
The stationery is not sufficient for everyone.
(स्टेशनरी सभी के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं है।)
The equipment is still on the way.
(उपकरण अभी भी रास्ते में है।)
The luggage is missing from the flight.
(फ्लाइट से सामान गायब है।)
The weather is going to be pleasant today.
(आज मौसम सुहाना होने वाला है।)

कुछ ऐसे बीमारी, खेल, विषय तथा देशों के नाम है जिनके अंत में S लगा रहता है फिर भी इनके साथ Singular verb का प्रयोग होता है

बीमारियों के नाम- measles, mumps, etc
खेलों के नाम – – billiards, darts, bowls, etc
विषयों के नाम- – physics, statistics, mathematics, civics, etc
देशों के नाम- – The united states, The West Indies, Athens, Wales, etc
जैसे- 
Physics is not an easy subject.
The USA is the most powerful nation in the world.
Mathematics is an interesting subject.
Cancer is a very common disease these days.
According to the news, it is going to be the hardest hitting earthquake.
Measles is now curable by getting timely vaccines.

In
a) समय के साथ
in 2 years, in 2006, in summers, in the morning, in January
I bought a car in 2008. (मैं 2008 में कार लाया।)
b) किसी बड़े स्थान के साथ जैसे की कोई देश, कोई राज्य, बड़ा नगर
I live in USA. (मैं अमेरिका में रहता हूँ।)
c) किसी चीज या वस्तु के अंदर में बताने के लिए
He is swimming in the river. (वह नदी में तैर रहा है।)

Into 
में - गतिशील अवस्था
Pour the coffee into the cup. (कॉफी को कप में डालो)
He is going into the room. (वह कमरे में जा रहा है।)

In और Into भी बहुत confusing हैं।
अंतर सिर्फ इतना है कि in में वस्तु पहले से ही अन्य जगह या वस्तु के अंदर होता है
जबकि into में बाहर से अंदर जाता है। इसमें गति होती हैं 

अगर आप कुछ करना पसंद करते हैं तो आप इन phrases का use कर सकते हैं - 

I love eating ice-cream.  (मुझे आइसक्रीम खाना बहुत पसंद है।)
He adored his mother. (वह अपनी माँ को बहुत प्यार करता है।
(adore - बहुत प्यार करना - He के साथ his का use किया जाता है।)
mad about
She's mad about Avengers movies. (वह एवेंजर्स फिल्मों के लिए पागल है।)
crazy about
I am crazy about those cars. (मैं उन कारों का दीवाना हूं।)
fond of
I am fond of cars. (मुझे कारों का शौक है।)
keen on
I am keen on martial arts.  (मैं मार्शल आर्ट्स में दिलचस्पी रखता हूँ।) 
Prefer
I prefer romantic movies. (मैं रोमांटिक फिल्में पसंद करता हूं।)
