Where- is an adverb relating to place/ position.
I know where you left the bag.

Were- is the plural tense of the verb 'are'.
We were playing outside.
हम बाहर खेल रहे थे।

We're- is a contraction of 'we are'
We're going to the park.
हम पार्क जा रहे हैं।

Wear- is used when talking about clothing.
I don't know what to wear.
मुझे नहीं पता कि क्या पहनना है।

Collective noun के साथ हमेशा singular verb का प्रयोग होता है

The committee has unanimously taken its decision.

A group of workers was on strike.
(श्रमिकों का एक समूह हड़ताल पर था।)

The committee is not resolved upon this reform.
(समिति इस सुधार पर हल नहीं है।)

The team is ready for a match.
(टीम एक मैच के लिए तैयार है।)

The group meets every week.
(समूह हर सप्ताह मिलता है।)

Jury has given its verdict unanimously.
(जूरी ने अपना फैसला सर्वसम्मति से दिया है।)

यदि वाक्य का subject कोई ऐसा Noun हो, जिससे निश्चित दूरी, समय, मात्रा, रकम सा वजन का बोध हो तो Plural रहने पर भी ऐसे Subjects के साथ Singular verb का प्रयोग होता है, क्योकि उनसे संख्या का बोध न होकर निश्चित मात्रा या परिमाण का बोध होता है जैसे- 

Eight hours is enough for the work. 
(काम  आठ घण्टे पर्याप्त है।)

Five hundred rupees is not much money these days.
(पांच सौ रुपये इन दिनों ज्यादा पैसा नहीं है।)

Hundred kilometres is a very long distance.
(सौ किलोमीटर की दूरी बहुत लंबी है।)

Four kilograms of chicken is enough for the party. (पार्टी के लिए चार किलोग्राम चिकन पर्याप्त है।)

ऐसे शब्द जो संज्ञा के मात्रा के बारे मे जानकारी दे, उसे Adjective of Quantity कहते हैं।
इस तरह के शब्द समान्यतः “how much?” (कितने) का answer देते हैं।
Adjective of quantity का उपयोग "कितने" प्रश्न के उस उत्तर में होता है जहाँ गिनती नहीं की जा सकती।
जैसे -

I can’t believe I ate that whole cake!
(मैं विश्वास नहीं कर सकती कि मैंने पूरा केक खाया!)
(How much cake - whole)

I took some notebooks.
(मैंने कुछ नोटबुक्स ली।)
(How many notebooks - some)

We spent a few rupees for watching cinema.
(हमने कुछ रुपये सिनेमा देखने में खर्च किये।)
(How many rupees - few)
