Meaning: पैसे बचाने के लिए ग़लत तरीके अपनाना
• It is certainly not a sensible decision to cut corners like this.
(इस तरह पैसे बचाने के लिए ग़लत तरीके अपनाना निश्चित रूप से एक समझदारी का फैसला नहीं है।)

TURN THE TABLES
Meaning: पासा पलट देना/ स्थिति उलटना
• Our team turned the tables in the last over of the match.
(हमारी टीम ने आखिरी ओवर में मैच का पाँसा पलट दिया। )

OLIVE BRANCH
Meaning: शान्ति का प्रस्ताव/ सुलह की पेशकश
• He proposed an olive branch to me after a deadly fight.
(एक जानलेवा लड़ाई के बाद उसने मुझसे सुलह की पेशकश की।)

MAN OF HIS WORDS
Meaning: जो अपने वादों को पूरा कर के दिखाए
• He has proven every time that he is a man of his words.

Accustomed TO (not WITH)
Accustomed के बाद 'with' नहीं 'to' preposition का use किया जाता है।
Accustomed to (something) का मतलब है – किसी बात का या किसी चीज़ का आदी होना।
• I’m accustomed with travelling a lot in my job. - Incorrect
• I’m accustomed to travelling a lot in my job. - Correct
(मैं अपने काम में बहुत यात्रा करने का आदी हूं।)
यहाँ accustomed to की जगह used to का भी प्रयोग किया जा सकता है।

Complain ABOUT (not FOR)
Verb Complain के बाद 'about' का use होगा, for का नहीं।
Complain about (something/that) का मतलब है- शिकायत करना या फिर किसी बात से असंतुष्ट होना।
• People are always complaining for the weather. - Incorrect
• People are always complaining about the weather. – Correct
(लोगों को हमेशा मौसम के बारे में/ को लेकर शिकायत रहती है।)

Complain के बाद 'of' का भी use किया जा सकता है।
Generally, Complain of का use आप तब करते हैं जब आप किसी बिमारी (illness) के बारे में बात करते हैं।
• She complained of a sore throat. (उसने गला खराब होने की शिकायत की।)
