Alone (अकेला) Alone का प्रयॊग adjective और adverb दोनों ही रूप में हो सकता है। दोनों ही रूप में इसका अर्थ "अकेला" (without other people or on your own) होता है। Alone मन की एक सकारात्मक (positive) मनोस्थिति (state of mind) है। यह एक ऐसी अवस्था है, जहां आप हमेशा अपने आप में खुश रह सकते हैं। Being alone is not equal to being sad, it just means that you have found yourself, and you are living happily with yourself. For example:
• He likes living alone. (वह अकेले रहना पसंद करता है।)
• I think we're alone now. (मुझे लगता है हम अब अकेले हैं।)
Lonely (अकेला/ तन्हा)
Lonely - adjective है जिसका अर्थ negative है की आप खुश नहीं है क्योंकि आप किसी के साथ नहीं है। यह एक नकारात्मक पर भावात्मक मनोस्थिति है। जरूरी नहीं है कि आप अकेले (alone) है तो आप अकेला (lonely) महसूस कर रहे हैं। इस स्थिति में आप सबके बीच रहते हुए भी अकेला महसूस कर सकते हैं। जब आप Lonely होते हैं तो उदास होते हैं। Loneliness is a sad feeling.For example:
