ASK + to का use क्रिया यानि verb के साथ किया जाता है:
I asked him to talk to you.
मैंने उसे आपसे बात करने के लिए कहा था।
We didn't ask you to come here.
हमने आपको यहां आने के लिए नहीं कहा।
Ask him to call me tomorrow.
उसे कहें मुझे कल फोन करे।
You cannot ask me to keep quiet all the time.
आप मुझसे हर समय चुप रहने के लिए नहीं कह सकते।
ASK + for का use किया जाता है किसी वस्तु को लेकर request करने के लिए:
He asked me for money.
उसने मुझसे पैसे मांगे।
I never asked for your help.
मैंने कभी आपकी मदद नहीं मांगी।
I have asked you for an answer.
मैंने आपसे जवाब मांगा है।
I need to ask you for something.
मुझे आपसे कुछ माँगना है।
