Dressed IN (not WITH)
• The people at the funeral were all dressed with white. – Incorrect
• The people at the funeral were all dressed in white. – Correct
(अंतिम संस्कार के समय सभी सफ़ेद रंग (के कपड़े) पहने हुए थे।)
Dressed के बाद with नहीं in preposition का use होगा। Dressed in (sth) का मतलब है- wearing something(कुछ पहने हुए)

Independent OF (not FROM)
• I did a part-time job because I wanted to be financially independent from my parents- Incorrect
• I did a part-time job because I wanted to be financially independent of my parents- Correct
(मैंने एक पार्ट-टाईम नौकरी की क्योंकि मैं अपने माता-पिता से वित्तीय रूप से स्वतंत्र होना चाहता था।)
Independent के बाद 'from' नहीं 'of' preposition का use होगा।
To be independent of (sb/sth) का मतलब है – किसी पर निर्भर न होना या आत्मनिर्भर होना।

However, Dependent के बाद 'on' का use किया जाता है। Dependent on का मतलब है – निर्भर होना।
• A child is dependent on its parents. (एक बच्चा अपने माता-पिता पर निर्भर है।)

Meaning - खाऊ, पेटू, भुक्खड़ (a person who eats too much)

PHAGOMANIAC (फैगोमेनीएैक)
Meaning: खाने के लिए जुनून रखने वाला (one who has an obsession for food/ eating)

EPICURE (ऐपिक्युर)
Meaning:  चटोरा (a person who is fond of eating and drinking)

CANNIBAL (कैनबल/ कैनिबल)
Meaning:  आदमख़ोर या स्वयं की प्रजाति का भक्षण करने वाला जीव (a person who eats human flesh, or an animal that eats the flesh of animals of its own type)

GOURMET (गोर्मे)
Meaning:  स्वादिष्ट भोजन पसंद करने वाला व अच्छे खान-पान का जानकार/ पारखी (a person who knows a lot about food and cooking, and who enjoys eating high-quality food)

DIPSOMANIAC (डिप्समेनीएैक)
Meaning: जिसे शराब पीने की लत हो (one who is addicted to alcoholic drinks)

TEETOTALLER (टीटोटलर)
Meaning: जिसे शराब की लत न हो व जो शराब पीने के खिलाफ हो (someone who never drinks alcohol or is opposed to the drinking of alcohol)
