Final (अंत) : Final किसी भी चीज़ के अंत को दर्शाता है। Final किसी टूर्नामेंट के आखिरी खेल (जो समग्र विजेता तय करता है) और परीक्षाओं (जो प्रतिवर्ष आयोजित होती है) के सन्दर्भ में प्रयोग किया जाता है। Final (an English word) किसी एक मैच, खेल या संगीत कार्यक्रम के अंतिम दौर को दर्शाता है। Final आमतौर पर तय होता है और एक निश्चित समय और तारीख पर होता है, जबकि Finale किसी समापन समारोह को संदर्भित करता है। उदहारण स्वरुप - "final" विश्व कप के अंतिम मैच का विशिष्ट नाम है। चूंकि यह इस खेल के आयोजन की पराकाष्ठा है , हम कह सकते हैं -

The World Cup Final is the finale of the World Cup. (विश्व कप फाइनल विश्व कप का समापन है।)

Finale (समापन) : Finale (an Italian word) किसी संगीत कार्यक्रम के समापन हिस्से या symphony जहां कलाकार तेजी से पहुँचता है, को दर्शाता है। Finale किसी भी reality show का अंतिम दौर होता है जो उस शो के विजेता का फैसला करता है या फिर यह दर्शाता है कि वह प्रदर्शन तेजी से समापन की ओर बढ़ रहा है।

हालांकि Final और Finale के अर्थ लगभग समान है पर इन दोनों शब्दों के उपयोग अलग अलग है।हम दोनों शब्दों को interchange नहीं कर सकते। जैसे -

Ashwin bowled the final over of the match. (अश्विन ने मैच के अंतिम ओवर में गेंदबाजी की।)(Ashwin bowled the finale over of the match. बोलना गलत है।)

Everyone enjoyed the grand finale of The Comedy Nights with Kapil. (सभी ने कॉमेडी नाइट्स विथ कपिल के भव्य समापन समारोह का आनंद लिया।) (Everyone enjoyed the grand final of The Comedy Nights with Kapil.बोलना गलत है।)

Anyone - indefinite pronoun है जो किसी विशेष व्यक्ति को नहीं दर्शाता है बल्कि किसी भी व्यक्ति को बताता है। यह किसी के लिए भी प्रयॊग हो सकता है जो किसी समूह का हिस्सा ना हो। anyone मतलब कोई भी (anybody)

Has anyone seen my wallet? (क्या किसी ने भी मेरा बटुए को देखा है?) - (any person - कोई भी व्यक्ति)

Did anyone see the eclipse last night? (क्या किसी ने भी कल रात ग्रहण देखा?) - (any person - कोई भी व्यक्ति)

Anyone can learn to cook but few can learn to cook well. (किसी भी खाना बनाना सीख सकता है, लेकिन बहुत कम ही अच्छी तरह से खाना बनाना सीख सकते हैं।)

Any one (two words) adjective phrase है जो एक समूह के किसी एक सदस्य को दर्शाता है। Any one के बाद सामान्यतः preposition 'of' का प्रयॊग करते हैं। Any one का अर्थ कोई भी एक व्यक्ति या वस्तु समूह से (any single member of a group of people or things)

Did you send for any one of the free samples? (क्या आपने किसी एक को भी मुक्त नमूनों के लिए भेजा था?) (any single thing - किसी एक चीज़)

Can any one of you tell me the answer to my question? (क्या आप में से कोई भी मुझे मेरे सवाल का जवाब बता सकता है?)

To Work Out – Workout means physical training or to exercise (कसरत/ व्यायाम करना)

To Shape Up – When you want to improve your body and make it look better (जब आप अच्छा दिखने के लिए अपना शरीर बनाये)

To Get in Shape – To  lose weight and become healthier (यह To Shape Up की तरह ही है जब आप healthy होना चाहते हैं)in shape.

To Pump Iron – When you lift weights up and down at the gym, to make your muscles bigger, that means you are pumping iron (जब आप अपनी मांसपेशियों को बड़ा और सुडौल बनाने के लिए gym में वज़न को उठाते हैं)

Brisk walking - To walk a little fast to increase the heart rate (थोड़ा जल्दी जल्दी चलना जिससे दिल की धड़कन भी बड़े)

Cutting carbs - Reducing carbs – sugars and starches (खाने में स्टार्च या शक्कर की मात्रा काम करना - carbs - carbohydrates)
