Prefix वह शब्द है जो किसी अन्य शब्द के आगे लगाया जाता है। यह उस शब्द का अर्थ बदल देता है। आज हम Andro Prefix के बारे में जानते हैं।

Andro शब्द Greek के andros (man) से लिया गया है और किसी में masculine या male को सूचित करता है। जैसे -
andranatomy – the dissection or structure of the male body

androcentric – regarding men as being primary or central

androcephalic – having a man’s head upon an animal’s body

androcracy – political rule by men

androgynous – having both male and female characteristics; also applies in botany. Don’t confuse this with androgenous, a biological term which means producing male offspring only

android – a robot that looks like a human

andrology – the study of diseases that affect men (sometimes called andriatry or andriatics)

andromorphous – having a man’s shape

androsterone – a steroid hormone produced by men

Synonyms of Teacher

Educator 
The conference will attract many leading scholars and educators. (सम्मेलन कई प्रमुख विद्वानों और शिक्षकों को आकर्षित करेगा।)

Instructor 
He's a music instructor at a primary school. (वह एक प्राथमिक विद्यालय में संगीत शिक्षक हैं।)

Pedagogue 
On this Teacher's Day, our government has chosen to recognize respected teachers and pedagogues. (इस शिक्षक दिवस पर, हमारी सरकार ने सम्मानित शिक्षकों और अध्यापकों को मान्यता देने के लिए चुना है।)

Trainer

Tutor
I got a tutor to help my children with their homework. (मुझे अपने बच्चों को उनके होमवर्क में मदद करने के लिए निजी शिक्षक (ट्यूटर) मिल गया है।)

Alone (अकेला)

Alone का प्रयॊग adjective और adverb दोनों ही रूप में हो सकता है। दोनों ही रूप में इसका अर्थ "अकेला" (without other people or on your own) होता है।
Alone मन की एक सकारात्मक (positive) मनोस्थिति (state of mind) है। यह एक ऐसी अवस्था है, जहां आप हमेशा अपने आप में खुश रह सकते हैं।
Being alone is not equal to being sad, it just means that you have found yourself, and you are living happily with yourself.
For example:

• He likes living alone. (वह अकेले रहना पसंद करता है।)

• I think we're alone now. (मुझे लगता है हम अब अकेले हैं।)  

Lonely (अकेला/ तन्हा)

Lonely - adjective है जिसका अर्थ negative है की आप खुश नहीं है क्योंकि आप किसी के साथ नहीं है। यह एक नकारात्मक पर भावात्मक मनोस्थिति है। जरूरी नहीं है कि आप अकेले (alone) है तो आप अकेला (lonely) महसूस कर रहे हैं। इस स्थिति में आप सबके बीच रहते हुए भी अकेला महसूस कर सकते हैं। जब आप Lonely होते हैं तो उदास होते हैं।
Loneliness is a sad feeling.
For example:

• I feel lonely now that all the children have left home. (मैं अब अकेला महसूस करता हूँ क्योंकि सभी बच्चे घर छोड़ चुके है।)
