Bookstore/clothes store/record store etc.: - इन stores में प्रायः एक ही तरह की वस्तुएँ मिलती है

Grocery store: ऐसी जगह जहाँ food और घर में use होने वाली वस्तुएँ बेची जाती है

Supermarket: एक बड़ी दुकान जहाँ कई अलग-अलग प्रकार के खाद्य पदार्थ और घर की जरूरत के सामान मिलते हो

Bakery:जहाँ bread, cakes, cookies बनाये और बेचे जाए

Delicatessen/deli: जहाँ cheese, cooked meat, bread etc मिलता हो (यह जगह Grocery store या Supermarket store के अंदर भी हो सकती है)

Liquor store: छोटा सा स्टोर जहां शराब बेची जाती है

Drugstore: जहाँ दवाइयां मिलती हो

Hardware store: यहाँ घर में, yard में काम करने वाले उपकरण मिलते हैं

Nursery/garden center: यहाँ plants और trees उगाए और बेचे जाते हैं

Newsstand: रोड के किनारे ऐसी जगह जहाँ newspapers और magazines बेचे जाते हो

Boutique: यहाँ fashionable/ designer clothes मिलते हैं और सिले जाते हैं  

Convenience store: इस तरह के store 24 घंटे और हर दें खुले रहते हैं जहाँ लगभग हर तरह की जरूरत का समान मिल जाता है

Chain store: एक ही कंपनी के स्वामित्व वाले स्टोर्स के समूह में से एक

Outlet store: ऐसी दुकान जो चीजों को सामान्य कीमत से कम पर बेचती है

Warehouse store: दुकान जो चीजों को कम कीमतों पर और बड़ी मात्रा में बेचती है

ASSIST = साथ देना  (helping by accompanying or sharing the work)
• Sam assisted me in preparing the presentation. (प्रस्तुति तैयार करने में सैम ने मेरा साथ दिया।)

SUPPORT = सहारा देना या समर्थन करना ( helping by giving emotional or materialistic assistance)
• My brother supported me when I had no job. (जब मेरे पास कोई काम नहीं था तो मेरे भाई ने मुझे सहारा दिया।)

GUIDE = मार्गदर्शन करना (helping by giving advice)
• The aim of teachers should be to guide the students about how they can realize their true potential. (शिक्षकों का उद्देश्य होना चाहिए कि वे किस तरह छात्रों को अपनी वास्तविक क्षमता का एहसास करने के लिए मार्गदर्शन करें।)

AID = सहायता देना / सहायक साधन उपलब्ध कराना ( to give practical help, especially by providing resources)
• The PM has ordered to give financial aid to the needy. (प्रधान मंत्री ने जरूरतमंदों को वित्तीय सहायता देने का आदेश दिया है।)

SUCCOR = परेशानी में सहायता (helping in the times of hardship and distress)
• The aim of our organization is to succor those children who are emotionally damaged. (हमारे संगठन का उद्देश्य उन बच्चों को सहायता करना है जो भावनात्मक रूप से क्षतिग्रस्त हैं।)

GIVE/ LEND A HAND = हाथ बंटाना (helping in enabling someone to do something)
• I'll be happy to lend a hand. (मुझे आपका हाथ बंटा कर खुशी होगी।)

AT THE ELEVENTH HOUR

Meaning: At the last possible moment or opportunity

जब किसी कार्य को ऐन मौके पर यानि बिलकुल अंतिम समय या क्षण में किया जाए, तब इस phrase का use किया जाता है।
If someone does something at the eleventh hour, they do it at the last possible moment.

घड़ी में 12 बजे का समय एक तरह से परिवर्तन दर्शाता है, जैसे कि सुबह से दोपहर (am to pm) या फिर एक तिथि से दूसरी तिथि ।
That's why it’s considered that the 12th hour of the day marks the end of a certain time frame. This, in turn, makes the 11th hour (idiomatically) as the last possible moment to complete doing something within the given time limit.

Uses:
• The PM didn't disclose his decision till the eleventh hour. (प्रधानमंत्री ने अंतिम क्षण तक अपने फैसले का खुलासा नहीं किया।)

• He postponed his trip at the eleventh hour. (उन्होंने ऐन मौके पर अपनी यात्रा स्थगित कर दी।)

• Study regularly every day instead of leaving it all for the eleventh hour. (अंतिम समय के लिए सब छोड़ने की बजाय हर दिन नियमित रूप से पढ़ाई करें। )

Walking on air - अत्यधिक प्रसन्नता की स्थिति (to be very happy; to be euphoric)
• On the last day of school, all the children are walking on air. (स्कूल के अंतिम दिन, सभी बच्चे अत्यधिक प्रसन्न हैं।)

Keep one's chin up - उत्साह को बनाये रखना (to keep one's spirits high/ happy despite bad things/ to act brave and confident)
• Keep your chin up Kiran; things will get better. (अपने जोश को बनाये रखो किरण; सब ठीक हो जायेगा।)

Fed up - ऊबा हुआ (bored or disgusted with someone or something)
• I'm fed up with her - she always keeps me waiting. (मैं उससे ऊब गया हूं - वह हमेशा मुझे इंतज़ार करवाती है।)

Shaken up - हिला हुआ (greatly startled, shocked, or upset)
• After the accident, she was completely shaken up. (दुर्घटना के बाद वह पूरी तरह से हिल गई थी।)

Under the weather - अस्वस्थ (not completely well)
•It's hard to keep working when you're under the weather. (जब आप अस्वस्थ होते हैं तो काम जारी रखना मुश्किल होता है।)
